2017-2018 QC Fine Arts Festival

Inspired by the arts, tomorrow,
students at Queen Creek Unified School District are featuring their work at the
second annual Queen Creek Arts Festival. ABC 15 photojournalist David McAllister
stopped at Newell Barney middle school to show us some of the impressive talent
within the district. One, two, three ready in In one section we will have the orchestra’s and the choir and band. Those kids make everything worth it there they’re
awesome kids they’re all working super hard with their music they’re all
invested in the program enriching their life with music and art they get to see
it they get to be a part of that. Then we have another section where it’s hands-on
not only are you going to see all the beautiful art that we have but you’ll
also be able to do some watercolors. One of them is the Native American
storytellers, this is a symmetrical bug project it’s very popular to have the
chalkboard art “life is too short to waste time on hating people.” In these
days with all of the things going on and people in their phones it’s just nice to
get kids heads up and present in either creating some beautiful piece of art or
creating some beautiful piece of music. In the case of Legally Blonde, creating
some beautiful musical. Less of a Marilyn more of a Jackie. It’s all of us coming together and celebrating our new voice whether we
like to look at art or whether we like to just paint an art there should be
something for everyone giving everyone an opportunity to see these kids
flourish. Wow providing an excellent soundtrack to that piece as well so
talented.
